A Coastal Landmark

Discover The Boundless Possibilities For Enjoyment At Paradisus Los Cabos
Seaside Luxury

Though only 25 minutes from the airport, the commotion of modern life seems faraway from Paradisus Los Cabos. Set on a secluded stretch of beach, the property offers a unique collection of accommodations, and range of cuisine that sets it apart in the destination. The resort lies on 14.5 acres of striking landscape, distinguished by coconut palms, cardon cactus, and agave. Its expansive, open-air lobby of cream-colored marble and dramatic pitched ceiling, embellished with golden-hued onyx, brings guests into the center of Paradisus—aptly named—and toward a stunning view of the Sea of Cortez.

The property, designed in a contemporary style with a chic neutral palate by Spanish architects Álvaro and Adriana Sans and Mexican designers Téllez y Téllez, offers lodging of universal appeal. Included in 350 rooms are 98 Royal Service suites, adults-only accommodations—a Paradisus signature—with a dedicated lounge for check-in, dedicated butlers, and an infinity pool. Twenty-eight Royal Service swim-up suites bestow singular privacy and indulgence. Families can also access a veritable hotel-within-a-hotel. Family Concierge rooms and suites feature spacious accommodations, special amenities for children, and access to the brightly colored Kid Zone for games and activities, as well as a lounge for families to enjoy throughout the day. The concierge is at the ready with advice and pointers. Paradisus has a large and swimmable beach, rare among resorts in Los Cabos, and four swimming pools.

Dining Pleasures

Seven restaurants are a distinct feature at this all-inclusive property. Among them is Gastro Bar by Basque chef Martin Berasategui, the celebrated chef of Michelin-starred restaurants near San Sebastián, Spain and Barcelona. The menu of Berastegui’s only outpost in Los Cabos has such dishes as marinated tuna and black garlic in a beet ceviche and roasted sea bass with potato foam in green sauce. Other restaurants include Bana, an Asian-fusion cuisine that features sushi and Teppanyaki dishes, and Terraza and Market Grill, with Argentinian steak and Italian pasta, and a broad veranda for al fresco dining. Mole offers traditional and contemporary Mexican food. Named for the piquant chocolate-chili sauce, unique to the country, and endlessly varied by region, Mole is the perfect spot to sample its diversity, including popular oaxaqueño and poblano varieties.

Recreation and amenities at Paradisus are comparably varied. The Paradisus YHI Spa offers an extensive menu of facial treatments and specialized body massages—from prenatal to sports—as well as aromatherapy, reflexology, and skin treatments with local touches, including Mexican herb exfoliation. Beach huts provide a distinct setting for al fresco couples massage. Options for adults range from mediation and yoga to beach volleyball andLatin dance classes. The popular children’s club, Kid Zone, engages younger guests in pastimes from making piñatas to treasure hunts. Notoriously fickle teenagers will be tempted to leave aside digital game consoles for outdoor chess on a giant board or water polo, among the many programs designed for them.

At the end of the Baja California peninsula, Los Cabos is a destination for every imaginable water sport—snorkeling and scuba diving in seas teeming with spectacular marine life, paddle boarding and surfing, sailing and sports fishing. The concierge staff at Paradisus can make arrangements for these and more, including tee times at numerous, award-winning golf courses. At the nearby Cabo Real Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., golfers are reminded of the unique setting at every step—holes five and six are set above the Sea of Cortez.
